Dance Studio of Maine This spring themed we develop an enjoyment of music and movement as well as a positive self-image as primary goals. These classes are structured to stimulate coordination skills, balance, music interpretation, and motor development.About the Instructor: Matilda trained as a student at the Dance Studio of Maine for six years and gained additional dance training through dance conventions. She became a teacher's assistant in high school where she found a love for dance education. Matilda graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2023 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Honors and Dance. Since starting teaching in 2019, Matilda has worked with all ages and styles, she also has experience teaching dance in elementary schools for students in alternative education programs. Teacher: SamanthaDescription: This beginner yoga class is open to anyone excited to try something new or getting back into old habits! We will explore all types of poses, anything from simple stretches to challenging balances. There will be modifications to all poses so there is something for everyone. This is a vinyasa style class which means we will work on flowing through poses while connecting to our breath. All you need to bring are comfy clothes, a water bottle, a yoga mat, and an open mind!Full Session- $50March 6th-April 17th (6 Weeks) * No Class March 13thDrop in- $9
