5:15 PM - 6:15 PM	Rec Soccer Grades K-7 - Grades 5, 6, & 7 Boys Rec Soccer 2023 Volunteer Coach Training - "Coach the Coach" sessions: Women only session - Tuesday, August 22, 6:30-7:30pm Open Session - Wednesday, August 23, 6:30-7:30pmPlease Register by August 23th The success of the rec soccer program relies heavily on volunteer coaches. No experience is necessary! The department strongly encourages all coaches and their children to a practical coaching workshop/practice to talk about youth sports philosophy, learn fun games, practice skills and drills, and build confidence in coaching kids of all ages. We are offering a 50% program fee credit to be applied to the account for all volunteer coaches at the end of the season. Please fill out a volunteer coach application HERE.All of our teams/programs need a sponsor. For $150, you are invited to select an approved team name and be recognized with a facebook page feature post. An emphasis will be placed on being part of a team, developing skills, and an introduction to the rules of the game in a fun environment.$45 for 4 weeks of coaching, a T-shirt, and a soccer ballFMI about Start Smart Soccer for Pre-K  (Ages 4-5) Click HERE__________________________________________________Grades 1 & 2 Girls' Soccer and Grades 1 & 2 Boys' Soccer Practice & Games held on Tuesday Evenings September 5, 12, 19, 26, October 3 & 10,  5:15-6:15pmPlayers in grades 1-2 will be placed in team and have a volunteer coach (volunteer coaches needed) to lead them for the season. The play-practice-play module of coaching will be used at this grade level. Each week the team will play a practice scrimmage from 5:15-5:30PM between their own team. They will then practice from 5:30- 5:45, learning new skills and improving skills they already have. Practices and games may not be made up due to weather.If you withdraw from the program after the equipment is ordered, but before the season starts, you will be refunded in full less the cost of the equipment.*We are unable to accommodate special requests for team placement. If you are a coach of a team, your child will be placed on the team you coach. Each age division will practice on the same day and time regardless of team placement.
