Welcome to the Arts and Craft Club, where creativity knows no bounds! Our club is the perfect place for young artists to unleash their imagination and explore the wonderful world of arts and crafts. Designed for grades k-5 offers a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment where kids can learn, create, and make new friends.

This is more a free expression class using art. It may be drawing, painting and sculpting. On week four there will be a art show at the town hall from 5:00pm-6:00pm parents are required to transport their kids to the art show. This is more a free expression class using art. It may be drawing, painting and sculpting. On week four there will be a art show at the town hall from 5:00pm-6:00pm parents are required to transport their kids to the art show. Creative Minds Class: Our classic arts and crafts club. In this option we will be creating a new craft each week with instructions and will take it home after each class.Where: Steep Falls School
When: 4 weeks- Tuesdays October 7th-28th.Time: 3:00pm-4:00pm
Who: K-5thArtists Hearts Class: In this option it will be a three week class and each week we will be building on our project that we will leave with the instructor, we will have the supplies and freedom to create whatever our heart tell us. This is more a free expression class using art. It may be drawing, painting and sculpting. On week four there will be a art show at the town hall from 5:00pm-6:00pm parents are required to transport their kids to the art show. The kids will show off their art to all parents and friends who are welcome to come.Where: Steep Falls Elementary When: Three weeks- Tuesdays November 4th-18th with the art show on 25th at the Standish Town Hall. Before Care & After Care 2025 - 2026 - After Care: Steep Falls General InformationThere is space still available at all sites! If you are interested in registering, please email nbillingslea@standish.orgPlease note: Before Care & After Care does start on August 27th on the first day of school. The program does not show these dates, because if it did you would be charged for an entire monthly payment for August. Those two days are looped into the September payment.Who: Children in grades K-5 who attend Edna Libby and George E. Jack Elementary Schools.Where: K-3 Edna Libby School (Before & After Care) 4-5 GEJ School (Before & After Care) K-5 Steep Falls (After Care only) PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT STUDENTS ATTENDING STEEP FALLS CANNOT BE REGISTERED FOR EDNA LIBBY OR GEORGE E JACK BEFORE CAREBefore Care: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., excluding all school vacations, in-service days, holidays, or snow days at G.E. Jack School.Before Care will not be held on any unscheduled late arrival days (such as those due to weather).After Care: Monday - Friday 2:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. excluding all school vacations, holidays, in-service days or school closure days (weather cancellation, etc)Early Release Days: Are a separate registration for the 2025 - 2026 school year. For more information, please look under the Early Release Adventures section.Fees and Payment Information:Automatic monthly payments will be set up when registering. The fee charged each month is the total cost of the program for the year, divided into 10 monthly installments. Your credit/debit card will be charged on the first of each month automatically. You will need to notify the Parks & Recreation Department if the payment information needs to be updated should your card expire or needs to be changed for any reason. Declined payments must be corrected as soon as notification is sent. Failure to make payments on past due balances could result in suspension from the program. Cancellation/Refund Policy:Written notice is required two weeks prior to the desired withdrawal date. A refund will be issued at a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the program, beginning on the first day of the next monthly billing cycle. Any days remaining in the month of withdrawal will not be refunded.
