We need you! You will always be teamed up with a co-coach, so you won't have to handle it alone. A 50% program fee credit will be applied to all volunteer coaches at the end of the season. Please be sure to fill out the volunteer paperwork before the start of Basketball season! Cancellations:In the event of game cancellations due to poor weather conditions, there will be a message on the Recreation Department's website and Facebook page. This message will not be posted until 4:00pm during the week or 8:00am for Saturday games. The message will only be posted if the game has been cancelled - if there is no message you should assume all games will be played. Join us for these fun & exciting trips for the MSAD 6 early dismissal days from school! We will be venturing to all sorts of exciting destinations to explore and have fun!! Program Details:
Refunds: If you cancel your child out of the program after 12:00 PM the day prior to the trip, no refunds will be given. If your child doesn't attend the day of the program, no refunds will be given. All other refunds will be given on a case by case basis.
Students participating in the Early Release Adventures will be picked up and transported via Standish Parks & Recreation bus after school from Edna Libby, Steep Falls & GEJ by a Standish Parks & Recreation staff member.
REGISTRATION FOR EACH TRIP CLOSES AT NOON THE DAY PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM TO GIVE SUFFICIENT TIME TO NOTIFY THE SCHOOLS/TEACHERS WHO IS ATTENDING
A snack and drink will be provided to each student during early release adventures.
You may send money for your child for our adventures if you would like, but please be aware that Standish Parks & Recreation will not be responsible for lost money or extra items (toys, phones, etc.) brought on early release trips.
Parent Pick Up: All students will need to be picked up at GEJ school no later then 5:30 pm.
Late pick up fees will be one dollar a minute starting after 5:30 pm.
*Please be aware that trips are subject to change based on weather or unforeseen circumstances.*
