Trail Walking "Shaw Cherry Hill Farm" & Lunch

Join us for a brisk "early fall" walk on the trails at Shaw Cherry Hill Farm in Gorham as we get some exercise on these wide, smooth paths. The Shaw Brothers Family Foundation finished the trails in 2019. The 2.7 miles are maintained by the town and are mostly flat and well marked with signs. This wonderful trail system includes open fields, before making a couple of loops in an older forest. Someone who has a knack for chainsaw art has created a family of bears and other animals that pop up along the trail. There are rough benches along the way for resting. We will walk for 60 to 90 minutes or until we decide as a group we have had enough. Wear good footwear for walking!

We will satisfy our palates at Sebago Brewing Company after working up an appetite from walking the trails (cost of lunch on your own).

Cost $10.00 to include transportation and staffing. (Cost of lunch on your own). Refunds on a case-by-case basis.

We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 10:00am and return at approximately 2:00pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot at Standish Town Hall.
