Smiling Hill Farm Wagon Ride and Barnyard
Join us for an adventure (for ages 21 to 101) to Smiling Hill Farm where we will enjoy a wagon ride through the beautiful fields and woods with the opportunity to pick out a pie sized pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. After the ride, we will have the chance to wander the barnyard which is home to over 175 farm animals with a variety of domestic farm animals including many species of cattle, sheep, goats, fowl, donkey and pigs. They also have a number of less common farm animals like emus, deer and alpacas. They have a petting area where we may be able to interact with the animals. Before heading home, we will satisfy our sweet tooth with some of their delicious homemade ice cream made on site (cost of ice cream on your own). There is also a small gift shop on site.
This trip will not involve getting lunch, so please eat before meeting the bus. Please make sure to wear comfortable footwear and dress in layers for the crisp fall air.
Cost: $30.00 includes transportation, wagon ride, barnyard and staffing (cost of ice cream on your own). This is a contractual program, so no refunds unless a replacement can be found.
We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 1:00pm and return at approximately 4:30pm.
