Narrated Scenic Tour Lake Winnipesaukee
Join us to celebrate Autumn to experience the majesty of Lake Winnipesaukee during a narrated scenic tour aboard the historic M/S Mount Washington, a first-class 230 foot excursion ship, to enjoy views of the lake and distant mountains. Learn about the history of the region and local folklore, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in New England. We will depart from Laconia to enjoy a cruise to Wolfeboro on "The Mount".
During our 2½ hour round-trip cruise, we can enjoy their quick service restaurant, sample beer, wine and cocktails from their full bar, or browse a premium selection of Winnipesaukee gifts and Mount Washington souvenirs in their gift shop. There is a main deck that is handicap accessible with a climate controlled interior and there is access by stairs to the 2nd and 3rd deck. Let's make a day of it...we will board the ship at 10:00am cruise for 1 hour 15 minutes before getting off in Wolfeboro where we will "stay and play" to eat lunch, shop, etc. for a couple of hours before boarding at approximately 1:30pm to cruise back to Laconia.
Cost: $85.00 includes transportation to NH, cruise tickets and staffing (cost of food & beverages on your own)
***If we get enough people to register, we may be able to take a second vehicle. If at registration the program is full, please add yourself to the waitlist.
This is a contractual program, so no refunds unless a replacement can be found.
We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 7:15am and return at approximately 5:00pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot.
