Pack a lunch and join us for a fun-filled afternoon at Lavender Hill Farm in Berwick. We will enjoy a lavender harvesting demo, a visit with their sheep ambassador, Milken, walk in The Lavyrinth pathways through lavender and a visit to the farm store. A fresh cut bunch of lavender and self-serve lavender lemonade are included in our visit. We will bring our own lunches to enjoy in their shaded garage space, with seating and tables available.
There is a lot of walking between areas where they have lavender planted...about 500 feet between lavender plots. "The Lavyrinth" can be reached by a short walk on relatively flat terrain, but is set on a hillside. Farmland can be uneven or rocky in places, so wear comfortable footwear. It is full sun in theirs fields, so hats and sunscreen are strongly advised.
Cost: $40.00 includes transportation, tour, bundle of lavender & lavender lemonade. This is a contractual program, so no refunds unless a replacement can be found.
We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 10:00am and return at approximately 2:30pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot.
