AMERICAN HERITAGE MUSEUM & LONGFELLOW’S WAYSIDE INN
Travel with us by coach bus to the American Heritage Museum, where you will explore America’s conflicts, beginning with the Revolutionary War to today. You will discover, and interact with our heritage through the History, the national effort developing new technologies of warfare, and the Human Impact of America’s fight to preserve the freedom we all hold dear. A three-course meal will be included at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, a warm, historic setting radiating with charm serving hearty and award-winning meals in America’s oldest continually operating inn. Goody bags for the long ride will be provided.
Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
Location: Hudson & Sudbury, Mass.
Fee: $112 includes transportation to Cabelas, coach bus ride to MA, museum and lunch. This is a contractual program, so no refunds unless a replacement can be found.

We will meet at Standish Town Hall, leave by 7:15am and head to Cabelas to depart by coach bus at 8:00am. We will then return to Cabelas at approximately 4:30pm and back to Standish Town Hall around 5:15pm.
This trip will be in conjunction with South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Yarmouth Recreation Departments.
