The "Magic of Christmas” has become a Maine holiday tradition for more than 40 years.
Featuring a delightful combination of nostalgic traditions, wondrous surprises, and an array of holiday favorites, Portland Symphony Orchestra says "this Maine tradition promises to be a memorable celebration of joy, wonder, and the spirit of the season".
Please join us as we head to Merrill Auditorium to enjoy this production of Magic of Christmas, that will feature exceptional music performances from Portland Symphony Orchestra, the Magic of Christmas Chorus, The PSO Children's Chorus and special guest Julia Gagnon, a finalist on American Idol in 2022.
We will have Orchestra seating that will be up close and personal, with less view of the entire orchestra, but no steps to get to our seats. Orchestra seating is recommended for good balance of sound, but offers less of a broad view of the orchestra. We will be close to the stage, with a more intimate view of the performers.
Cost: $37.00 includes theater tickets and transportation. There is a minimum of 10 to run this program and there will be no refunds after 11/19/25.
We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 1:00pm for the 2:00 pm show and return at approximately 5:30pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot.
