Narrated Scenic Tour Lake Winnipesaukee
Join us on the first day of Autumn to experience the majesty of Lake Winnipesaukee during a narrated scenic tour aboard the historic M/S Mount Washington, a first-class 230 foot excursion ship, to enjoy views of the lake and distant mountains. Learn about the history of the region and local folklore, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in New England. We will depart from Laconia to enjoy a cruise to Wolfeboro on "the Mount".
During our 2½ hour round-trip cruise, we can enjoy lunch from their quick service restaurant, sample beer, wine and cocktails from their full bar, or browse a premium selection of Winnipesaukee gifts and Mount Washington souvenirs in their gift shop. There is a main deck that is handicap accessible has a climate controlled interior and there is access by stairs to the 2nd and 3rd deck. Let's make a day of it...we will board the ship at 10:00am and have the opportunity to "stay and play" in Wolfeboro, where we can eat lunch, shop, etc. for a couple of hours before boarding at approximately 1:30pm to cruise back to Laconia. The Town Docks area has been central to Wolfeboro's identity as "America's Oldest Summer Resort" since the 1800's!
Cost: $68.00 includes transportation to NH and narrated cruise (cost of food & beverages on your own)
We will meet at Standish Town Hall and leave promptly at 7:15am and return at approximately 5:00pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot.
