Join us on our day long adventure on the "Sunshine Trail" as we drive to different shops along the way that go through Limerick and Newfield marking the annual open house of small businesses. We had an amazing time when we embarked on this journey last November for the "Snowflake Trail"...We will follow the trail and have the chance to purchase local, hand-made artisan French style chocolates, Maine Maple syrup and local foods, meet talented artists and craftsmen, admire the handiwork of local artists, explore for antiques and enjoy the delights of an alpaca farm. Shops on the trail includes: Wright Chocolate House, Cross Street Flowers, Home Sweet Home, Vickie's Olde School Gift Shoppe, Hilltop Boilers Maple Syrup, Twisted Willow Treasures, Humphrey's and Elf Paca Meadows and any other shops we want to stop at. There will be places along the way for lunch (cost of lunch on your own). This promises to be a fun summer activity and could end with a refreshing ice cream on the way home if everyone agrees to stop (cost of ice cream on your own).
If you went with us last year on the Snowflake Trail... you will love this! If you did not, come with us this time for a great trip! Let us do the driving while you sit back and enjoy the ride. There will be walking at each stop, so wear comfortable footwear.
Cost: $15.00 includes transportation, snacks and water
We will meet at Standish Town Hall at 9:00am and return at approximately 5:00pm. Please park in the upper-level parking lot.
