Please join us to explore the University of New England Art Gallery Portland campus on Stevens Avenue in Portland. This gallery was established in 1977 as the Joan Whitney Payson Gallery of Art and hosts a rich history of exhibitions.
The gallery at UNE highlights their institutional strengths and interests, with an emphasis on earth, environmental, and social sciences, medicine, education, arts, and humanities. They promote a broad, diverse, inclusive, and thought-provoking range of perspectives within the specific context of each exhibition.
The gallery mounts approximately three exhibitions each academic year in a variety of media and focusing on a range of themes.
We will have lunch at Bruno's in Portland before heading to the gallery (cost of lunch is on your own)
Cost: $10.00 includes transportation and gallery (cost of lunch on your own)
We will meet at Standish Town Hall at 11:30am and return at approximately 3:00pm.
