Beginner Yoga
Instructor: Lisa King
Learn the fundamentals of yoga in a welcoming community. We will explore many traditional yoga postures and movements and help you find the best way to work with your unique body/mind. Through balancing effort and ease, students will increase strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Breathing practices and mindfulness will also be offered with a nice relaxation at the end of class. Every part of this class is an offering with no pressure to perform or compete. Modifications are offered. This class is meant for beginners, but more experienced students with “beginner’s mind” might enjoy breaking down familiar yoga forms and exploring new aspects of their practice!
Please note: If school for MSAD 6 is cancelled due to weather, class will be cancelled and the session will be extended out another week.
