Casco Bay Mailboat Run Tour
Want to embark on a little journey to see some history on Casco Bay? Hop on the Mailboat Run with us to experience Casco Bay as we cruise past Little Diamond Island, Great Diamond, Long, Cliff and Chebeague for up to 3 hours. Did you know that Casco Bay is one of the oldest ferry systems in the country? We will pass 4 lighthouses including Pocahontas the smallest lighthouse on the eastern seaboard. If we are lucky and watch closely, we are likely to spot a porpoise, seal, seabird or even wildlife on shore such as deer. The Captain will not only navigate the trip, but will be our narrator...brochures and maps will be available to enjoy our exertion along the peaceful waters of Casco Bay. There is indoor and outdoor seating and an elevator to help navigate between the deck and cabin.
Pack a lunch, snack and/or drinks to eat along the way, sit back and enjoy the fresh summer sea air.
Cost: 33.00 Includes transportation to Casco Bay Lines and boat ticket. Refunds on a case-by-case.
We will meet at Standish Town Hall promptly at 8:30am in time to purchase tickets and catch the 10:00am boat and return at approximately 2:30pm.
Please park in the upper-level lot at Standish Town Hall.
