Young ballerinas
Dance Studio of Maine 

This spring themed we develop an enjoyment of music and movement as well as a positive self-image as primary goals. These classes are structured to stimulate coordination skills, balance, music interpretation, and motor development.

About the Instructor: Matilda trained as a student at the Dance Studio of Maine for six years and gained additional dance training through dance conventions. She became a teacher's assistant in high school where she found a love for dance education. Matilda graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2023 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Honors and Dance. Since starting teaching in 2019, Matilda has worked with all ages and styles, she also has experience teaching dance in elementary schools for students in alternative education programs. Her goal when teaching is to help students identify and hone their individual strengths as artists.
 


Six week program: Tuesdays,
February 13th to March 19th.

Who: Ages 2-5 years old
Time: 9:00am-9:30am
