Join us for a visit to the finest collection of Maine minerals and gems at the Maine Mineral and Gems Museum in Bethel.
The many interactive exhibits explore the history of mining and gem extraction in Maine. Displays also include one of the world’s foremost collections of extraterrestrial rocks—meteorites from Mars, the Moon and the Asteroid Belt, including the five largest pieces of the Moon on Earth!
We will visit the gift shop, and find lunch ( on your own) before heading home.
