In a fun, interactive environment, participants will learn the responsibilities and qualities of being a good babysitter.
The class focuses on injury prevention, first aid, basic childcare, decision making, problem solving and leadership skills.
Ideal for current and future babysitters-teaching them the best ways to be safe and to keep children in their care safe.
Please bring a lunch, drink and snack. Class begins promptly - Please be on time!
Min 10 Max 14 participants
Ages 11–15
Participants will learn to:
- Supervise children
- Diaper, feed and dress infants
- Prevent accidents
- Select safe toys and games
- Handle an emergency or illness
- Play with children of different ages
