June 22rd - June 24th will be the eighth year we will honor the rich history of the villages that make up Standish: Steep Falls, Standish Corner and Sebago Lake Station! The "Spectacular" will focus on "3 villages. 1 Community." We look forward to the many ways that our townspeople will promote that theme. We're offering something for everyone, so take a look at the schedule below and see how you can join your community in celebrating the villages of the town. Thursday at the Sebago Lake Station Public Boat Launch is offering a catered dinner with raffle prizes given away throughout the evening. Friday takes us to Standish Memorial Park for Fireworks and entertainment provided by Flamin Raymin and Sizzlin Suzzin, same great party, new location! Of course on Saturday, enjoy the pancake breakfast at the Congregational Church before the Parade, then stop by the Community Marketplace to support our local vendors. There will be a lot happening in Steep Falls Village on Saturday as well, as we help the Steep Falls Library celebrate 100 years! The library is offering a guided walk to the river and a BBQ dinner, both fund raisers for their accessibility ramp, then co-sponsoring Port City Jazz Band at the Library with the American Legion. So much to do with the great organizations and the wonderful people of Standish.

The mission of the Standish Summer Spectacular is to honor and celebrate, on an annual basis, the rich history of the villages that make up the Town of Standish including Steep Falls, Standish Corner and Sebago Lake Station. The Standish Summer Spectacular coordinates activities, events, and entertainment to give area organizations, businesses and people the opportunity to showcase the talent and diversity of Standish in a way that is educational, forward looking and fun for all.
